The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office hopes to nail two people captured on surveillance video using a hammer in a failed smash and grab.
The sheriff’s office says the pair was targeting high-end watches.
One of the suspects was able to put his arm into a hole he created but he was unable to grab the watches which were in a separate case.
The business, which was not identified, is in the 11900 block of Forest Hill Boulevard in Wellington.
The incident took place just before 1:30 a.m. Monday.
Anyone with information is asked to call Palm Beach County Crime Stoppers at 800.458.TIPS.
