New video shows the progress a local 8-year-old boy battling bone cancer is making in his recovery.
Josh Barbanell, who attends Frontier Elementary in Loxahatchee, is recovering from an emergency amputation.
New video posted on the family's "Bomb Away Cancer" Facebook page shows Josh learning to go up and down stairs on his crutches.
His family says he's experiencing phantom limb pain, but he is doing well.

Josh has an appointment next week in Miami to see how he's healing, and to start another round of chemotherapy
