Homes were evacuated in Wellington Wednesday due to a gas leak.
It happened in the Black Diamond development, after a line was struck by workers.
4 homes were evacuated as a precaution.
"The gas leak is so tremendous that it is three houses away from my house and I can smell it," neighbor Greg Diaz said before the problem was fixed.
Evacuated homeowners say the smell of gas covered a good part of the neighborhood.
They were allowed back home around 2 p.m.
