Annual toy drive held to collect Christmas gifts for needy kids

Posted

A team that helps many of you wake up in the morning, helped make sure kids in our area wake up on Christmas with gifts.

Mo and Sally from Kool 105.5 held their annual toy drive on Saturday.

Listeners were invited to bring unwrapped toys to two local Toys-R-Us locations as Mo and Sally battled it out to see who could get the most donations.

Morning show host Sally Sevareid said, "We just don't want any kids in our community to wake up Christmas morning without something to unwrap something under the tree. It's a way for our community to come together because a lot of us have a lot and there's so many in our community who don't have enough so we should share."

This is the thirteenth year of the toy drive.
