Posted

A driver struck and critically injured a young teen Friday night in Palm Beach County and then left the scene, according to the sheriff's Office.

Isaih N. Reynolds-Blue, 13, of West Palm Beach was crossing Cherry Road at Military Trail when a light blue or gray four-door Toyota Corolla hit him. The impact caused Reynolds-Blue to be thrown into the air and he landed in the outside lane of southbound Military Trail, according to the sheriff's office.

It's unclear who had the right of way at the intersection but, after stopping a short distance from the crash scene, the driver left the scene, according to witnesses.
