A suspect has been arrested in connection with a shooting and crash in February that left three people dead.

20-year-old Derek Jupiter faces a charge of first-degree murder with a firearm, two counts of felony murder as well as three drug-related charges, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.

His arrest stems from an incident that began at the Madison Chase apartment complex in suburban West Palm Beach on February 19.

The sheriff's office says one vehicle was shooting at another and there was a crash near Skees and Belvedere roads.

Chauncey Christian, 21, Jerry Dunois, 20, and Deandre Jean Louis, 17 all died as result of the incident.

Jupiter's first appearance is set for Saturday.

PBSO plans to release more details on the case.
