Suncoast Community High School and Alexander W. Dreyfoos Jr. School of the Arts made the U.S. News and World Report's list of "Best High Schools" for 2016.
Suncoast ranked 57th and Dreyfoos School of the Arts ranked 66th in the nation on the U.S. News and World Report's list. The magazine rated Suncoast as the ninth best high school in Florida, while Dreyfoos School of the Arts was tenth on the list.
Seven District-operated schools also were named to U.S. News and World Report's list of best high schools in Florida. They are:
42: Boca Raton Community High School
46: Spanish River Community High School
66: Wellington Community High School
72: Atlantic Community High School
73: Jupiter Community High School
85: West Boca Raton Community High School
91: Park Vista Community High School
In addition, G-Star School of the Arts, a Palm Beach County charter school, made the list at number 74.
