Get ready for rides, games and all the fried food you can handle. The South Florida Fair's annual Ride-A-Thon gets underway Thursday evening.
The full fair opens for business on Friday and will run every day through February 2.
The Ride-A-Thon starts at 5 p.m.
On Friday opening day ceremonies begin at 11:30 a.m. at the Expo West Theater.
This year the Expo theme is: “Play Ball, Play Fair!”
