If you smell smoke Friday in Palm Beach County, there could be a number of reasons.
One of them is a mulch fire which is expected to burn and generate smoke for the next few days.
The fire is in the 6000 block of Park Lane in Central Palm Beach County.
The mulch pile is up to 25 feet high in some areas, according to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.
In addition, there are several controlled burns taking place in the Loxahatchee Preserve area, according to fire rescue.
