The state is once again considering modifications to Southern Boulevard in Palm Beach County.
Representatives said they want to make sure the road can handle increased development between Interstate 95 and South Bay as more people move to the area.
Parts of Southern Boulevard received a makeover 10 years ago.
The Florida Department of Transportation is hosting public meetings in Belle Glade and Royal Palm Beach next week.
