The post office at Okeechobee and Royal Palm Beach boulevards was evacuated for a time Monday after the discovery of a powdery substance.
Investigators later determined the substance was a non-hazardous protein powder.
Both Palm Beach County Fire Rescue and the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene.
The post office is now back open for business.
