RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. -- More than 20 volunteers gathered at St. George's Episcopal Church in Riviera Beach on Saturday to give their food kitchen a much-needed facelift.
The walls inside the dining hall were given a fresh coat of paint and all surfaces and appliances were thoroughly cleaned.
Volunteer Mark Bloom said, "It's just nice to know that when they come back hopefully on Monday they'll see the spruced up cleaner shiner place and I think that will make their experience better and I'm proud I could be part of that."
St. George's food kitchen serves roughly 250 meals each day.
