Chopper 5 flew over the Florida Power and Light plant in Rivera Beach on Wednesday and captured video of manatees tightly huddled together.
The manatees aren’t fond of this cool spell but know the right spot to keep warm.
The new manatee viewing area at the location will open next month.
Expect the number of manatees at the plant to increase because more cool nights are in the forecast.
