Riviera Beach Fire Rescue said seven people were injured after a school bus crashed Tuesday morning at Blue Heron Boulevard and Australian Avenue.
According to Kathy Burstein with Palm Beach County schools, the bus was heading to Inlet Grove Community High School, a charter school which the Palm Beach County School District provides transportation for.
RBFR said all of the patients were taken to St. Mary's Medical Center with minor injuries.
A new bus was brought to the scene to take students to school.
According to Riviera Beach Police, the driver and child inside the car were also taken to an area hospital for minor injuries.
Police cited the bus driver for the accident.
