RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. — One person is dead and 4 others injured in a shooting near the Azure Estates apartment complex, according to Riviera Beach Police Chief Michael Coleman.

The shooting occurred at 6:15 p.m. Monday at the 1500 block of Azure Estates.
Two people were shot after an argument broke out inside the apartment complex. The suspect allegedly exited the complex and attempted to carjack two different vehicles, and then shot at three other people.
Five people were injured during the incident, including two critically and two others who sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said the Florida Highway Patrol apprehended a person of interest in St. Lucie County.
"I want to say it's an isolated incident...but we believe we have the proper suspect in custody at this time," Chief Coleman said.
