RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. — One person is dead following a shooting in Riviera Beach Friday evening, according to the Riviera Beach Police Department.
The shooting occurred at 9:38 p.m. in the 100 block of West 17th Street.
Officers responded to shots fired and located 36-year-old Javon Turner suffering from gunshot wounds.
Turner was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, police said.
Detectives and Crime Scene investigators are investigating the incident.
There is no motive or suspect information at this time.
