A former Riviera Beach evidence tech flashed WPTV an obscene gesture when asked about a plea deal she's considering.

In court Thursday, Claudia Hutchinson's attorney said it is likely they will take a one year jail sentence, followed by five years probation for her role in a massive larceny case.

Hutchinson is accused of stealing more than $100,000from 189 police evidence bags.

At the time, the police chief said the thefts went on for about six months.

Hutchinson is due back in court Aug. 3.
