Riviera Beach police said a 12-year-old boy is in stable condition after a shooting Monday night.
Police spokeswoman Rose Anne Brown said in a news release that the shooting occurred in front of a home in the 1000 block of West 27th St. at about 9:56 p.m.
Brown said the shots appear to have been fired from a passing vehicle.
According to witnesses, the boy was struck as he exited the residence. He was transported to a hospital by Riviera Beach Fire Rescue.
