RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. -- Police are looking for assistance from the public in locating 33-year-old Edward Hamilton, who has been missing since Tuesday, March 8.
Hamilton's mother noticed he and her vehicle, a white 2007 Toyota Tundra (Florida tag # 007-PHA) were missing at 1:00 that afternoon.
Hamilton suffers from paranoid schizophrenia and has not had access to his medication since March 8.
In the past, he has been known to become very violent toward people when he does not take his medication.
Hamilton's mother fears he may have been without his medication for the last two weeks. He has not gone missing before.
The vehicle Hamilton is driving was spotted in Riviera Beach on March 11. Police have checked hospitals, psychiatric facilities, and the county jail, but have not located him yet.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts should contact Riviera Beach police at 561-845-4123. The public is urged to avoid contact with Hamilton, please report his location to the police instead.
