Riviera Beach police said an illegal drug transaction resulted in a fatal shooting Wednesday night.
The shooting occurred just after 10 p.m. in the 200 block of West 17th St. after what appears to be an illegal drug transaction, said police spokeswoman Rose Anne Brown.
The victim Peter Goulos, 55, was shot while seated in his vehicle.
Goulos then drove his vehicle to a convenience store located at 101 West Blue Heron Blvd. Riviera Beach Fire Rescue transported him to the hospital from that location.
Brown said Goulos died overnight from his injuries.
