MANALAPAN, Fla. -- A precautionary boil water notice has been issued for the town of Manalapan.
A mechanical malfunction at the re-pump station located on Lands End Road caused pressure to drop below 20 PSI to the residents of Manalapan.
As a precaution, the town is advising that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes be boiled.
A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient.
Once a bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink, residents will be notified.
