The first babies of the new decade have arrived.
New Year’s Day began with plenty of smiles as families welcomed their new bundles of joy. Brayden Harvey Ward was Palm Beach County’s first baby of 2020. He was born to parents Jordan and Mariah Harvey at 12:36 a.m. at Wellington Regional Medical Center.

“I want him to know that we love him. H\e’s a representation of our bond, our charisma and everything we share plus more,” said Jordan Ward.
Kishana Watson gave birth to her third child, Joshua, at St. Mary’s Medical Center at 3:52 a.m.
“He was due on the 28th [of December]. I was looking out for a Christmas baby instead of New Year’s baby,” said Kishana Watson.
Watson is entering her new year with wisdom.
“I’m just going to take it step by step. Whatever happens I will just face it and conquer it. You’ve got to have courage, you have to have strength and you will overcome it,” Watson added.
From the Treasure Coast through the Palm Beaches, the first newborns of the decade are melting hearts across the region.
