Red sneakers were the main fashion statement Saturday at a soccer benefit on Palm Beach.

11-year-old Oakley Debbs died just after Thanksgiving from complications due to a nut allergy.

His family said Oakley always wore red sneakers and loved to play soccer.

His mother said today's soccer games were a perfect way to honor him, "It's so amazing to know that I have a community like this behind us that are so caring, so supporting and understanding that they are here to support our son and our cause."

Oakley's family also created a foundation in hopes to education folks about allergies and save lives.
