PALM BEACH, Fla. -- The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office Bomb Squad investigated a suspicious package that was reported to be on the beach in Palm Beach Sunday morning.
The bomb squad determined that the package was some sort of homemade bundle of wiring and batteries and was deemed to not be a threat.
Palm Beach Fire Rescue crews closed S. Ocean Blvd. on Palm Beach for a portion of the morning while the bomb squad investigated.
