An adorable baby Mexican spider monkey recently born at the Palm Beach Zoo is nameless no more.
Say hello to Tesoro!
The female monkey is named after Tesoro Escondido, a spider monkey preserve located in Panama.
More than 1,600 votes were cast to name the monkey, which was born in August.
Tesoro beat out the name Kipekee by just 10 votes.
The Mexican spider monkey is critically endangered with only 67 in zoos around the world, with 30 residing in zoos in the United States.
