Palm Beach County School District leaders confirm that a man boarded a school bus Thursday morning as it was picking up students.

The man got on the bus at a stop on Haverhill Rd. just south of Okeechobee Blvd.

"It's kind of terrifying," says parent Kymber Sprague. "What if he would have been armed. What if he would have harmed a student?"

Right now there's one question she wants answered.

"Who is not paying attention?" says Sprague.

School District leaders say a man lined up with students at the bus stop.

Fire Rescue was also nearby investigating a brush fire.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office says the man was Baker Acted.

"Have someone on the bus, you never know what could happen," says Sprague.

PBSO and the Palm Beach County School District are investigating the incident.

Pam Arnett is wondering how the person made it on the bus in the first place.

"It's scary," says Arnett.

A district spokesperson says no students were in any danger at the time of the incident.
