Authorities says there is a no swim advisory in effect for four Palm Beach County parks.
The Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department posted on social media that the parks affected are: DuBois Park, Jupiter Beach Park, Carlin Park and Phil Foster Park.
No swimming advisories are usually posted where there is a high bacterial level in the water.
Heavy rains, high surf, and heavy traffic can contribute, according to the parks department.
Rinsing with fresh water after swimming in any natural body of water is always a good practice, according to the health department.
