PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. — A motorcyclist died in a crash Saturday morning in Palm Beach County.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office says at around 8 a.m. a 1999 Chevrolet S10 truck was driving eastbound on Southern Boulevard and turned north onto Caroline Drive.
At that same time a 2019 Honda motorcycle was traveling westbound on Southern Boulevard.
The driver of the truck failed to see the motorcycle and initiated the turn throught the westbound lanes, striking the motorcycle.
The driver of the motorcycle, 19-year-old Jacob Matias, was ejected from the motorcycle and pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the truck was not injured.
