If you live in Palm Beach County and want to save money on your property taxes, Monday is the last day to get a 1 percent discount.
Taxes are due on April 1, but if you pay early you get a discount.
Residents who paid in November received a 4 percent discount, but it has dropped to one percent for Feb. 29.
Many people have reported having to stand in long lines to pay their bills. Locations near the airport and Lantana no longer have a service center after closing recently.
Mondays and Fridays have often experienced the longest lines at the seven service center locations.
But remember, you can pay your bill online or through the mail. If you do it by mail they ask that you not staple the check to the paper since it's harder to process and takes longer.
