LOXAHATCHEE, Fla. — The town council for Loxahatchee Groves has approved hiring a new town manager, tapping Jamie Titcomb for the job.
Loxahatchee Groves was run by a private company, Underwood Management Services. The council recently voted to terminate the contract.

Titcomb currently works as town manager of Ocean Ridge and will start on March 18.
Loxahatchee will only have to pay Underwood Management for the next 120 days and current employees will serve through the transition.
