Police investigate shots fired in Lantana

The Lantana Police Department is investigating reports of shots fired in Lantana early Saturday morning. 

The incident happened around Saturday around 4:45 a.m. in the 800 block of Minnesota Street. 

According to Lantana Police Department  Commander Robert Hagerty, three residents were returning home when they interrupted a car burglary in their driveway. 

The residents chased the suspect and the suspect shot at the residents multiple times. 

No one was injured in the incident. 

Officials continue searching for the suspect but have not released any suspect information at this time.
