Lantana police and Palm Beach County Fire Rescue responded to a report of a stabbing in the city Tuesday morning.
It happened near the 1000 block of W. Lantana Rd., according to first responders.
Police said two women staying at the Motel 6 began fighting over a cellphone.
The fight escalated and the women used pepper spray on each other and one received a minor stab wound on the leg, police said.
One person was transported to a hospital and later released, according to investigators.
She refused to press charged, police said.
