Suspect cited in Lake Worth Beach hit and run that totaled 1 car and damaged another

PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla.-- Authorities say a West Palm Beach man has confessed to driving into two parked vehicles in Lake Worth Beach and then leaving the scene.

The crash happened November 17 in the 400 block of S. E Street.

Surveillance video captured the moment of impact.

Misael Rodriguez said as a result of the collision his Nissan Altima was a total loss, and his Nissan Maxima had more than $3,000 in damage.

Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office detectives began an investigation and say it led them to 20-year-old Juan Guarchaj Tambriz.

They say he confessed.

PBSO said he faces citations of leaving the scene of an accident with property damage, careless driving and no valid driver's license.
