LAKE WORTH BEACH, Fla. — Due to large swells at the William O. Lockhart Municipal Pier in Lake Worth Beach, the pier will be closed through Wednesday, September 23.
South Florida is under a High Surf Advisory and Coastal Flood Advisory through Tuesday.
Surf conditions are rough thanks in part to Hurricane Teddy out in the Atlantic.
WPTV Meteorologist Steve Villanueva says tides will be running above average, so minor flooding is possible.
