UPDATE: A spokesperson for the Palm Beach County Fire Department has confirmed firefighters responded to the scene at 6:17 p.m. and found one deceased person. Passengers on the commuter train were not injured.
EARLIER STORY:
A pedestrian was struck and killed by a Tri-Rail train Friday evening.
Officials say northbound train P636 is currently stopped due to the passenger strike, causing delays.
Lantana Police Department is investigating the incident.
