A local Peace Corps trainee has died in the African country Namibia.
The Corps announced Thursday that 24-year- old Mitchell Hermann, from Lake Worth, died suddenly.
Hermann was a graduate of Florida Atlantic University. He was training to teach science with the Peace Corps.
The Corps extends its condolences to Hermann's family.
