Three people have been arrested for a shooting in the 200 block of N. Dixie Highway in Lake Worth, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.
They're being charged with armed robbery and attempted homicide.
Our cameras were rolling on North F Street when two men and a women were taken into custody.
"This is not normal," said neighbor Mara Martinez. "This is a very quiet neighborhood."
Martinez says a man named Carlos says he lives in the home that deputies surrounded with search dogs around 12:30 p.m.
"They just got a phone call that they have to come because something was going on at the house and the neighbor was the one who called them," Martinez translated from Spanish from Carlos.
Deputies say the shooting scene happened at the Burger King on North Dixie Highway, about a half-mile away just before noon. When they arrived, they did not find a male victim. They learned that the victim called for help from the 1600 block of S. Federal Highway.
The victim is now being treated at St. Mary's Medical Center.
The extent of his injuries was not released but he's expected to survive.
"I was here serving a customer and then out of nowhere I just hear three gunshots out of nowhere from the background," said Felipe Gomez, a server at Lupita's Tex Mex across the street from the Burger King.
Anyone with information is urged to call Palm Beach County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS.
