Two dogs were rescued from a house fire in suburban Lake Worth Sunday afternoon, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.
Crews responded to reports of a house fire on the 5000 block of Michlar Dr. shortly after 2:30 p.m.
The sheriff's office said smoke was visible blocks away from the home.
Firefighters quickly brought the fire under control, located and rescued two dogs that were inside the home.
The Red Cross was contacted to help the family affected by the fire.
The cause of is under investigation.
