Thousands of people are expected to pack John Prince Park in Lake Worth for the 22nd annual Buddy Walk.
The event, put on by the Gold Coast Down Syndrome Organization, promotes awareness of the capabilities and talents of persons with Down Syndrome.
The funds raised will go towards educational, social and advocacy programs.
There will be free breakfast, bounce houses, and a petting zoo available for those who attend.
2,500 people are expected to attend the walk.
The event raised over $175,000 in 2005.
The opening ceremony gets underway at 8:45, and the walk starts at 9:15.
