Compelling testimony was heard today in the case against a Delray Beach doctor.
Manuel Abreu is accused of fondling multiple patients, employees, and a pharmaceutical representative at Personal Physician Care.
Testimony lasted roughly six hours. The judge was deciding if seven lawsuits filed against Abreu will be accepted as evidence in the criminal case.
Each witness who testified has filed a lawsuit against the doctor. Abreu's attorney's argued there is no physical evidence to support their claims.
One alleged victim who testified was a former employee. She testified Abreu touched her inappropriately at the medical office where they worked.
A pharmaceutical representative also took the stand saying the doctor tried kissing her and grabbed her. A former patient says Abreu touched her inappropriately after a surgical procedure.
"I kept asking them repeatedly why? Why was there a reason that they could make sense of that he would have needed to touch those areas," says one alleged victim.
The judge did not make a decision. He is expected to make a ruling early next month.
