Parents in a Greenacres neighborhood are on alert after the Sheriff's Office says two teens claim they were approached by a man who was exposed.
Wednesday afternoon, parents spoke to NewsChannel 5 as they were picking up their kids at L.C. Swain Middle School.
The Palm Beach Sheriff's Office said Tuesday morning two teen girls were walking to school when they said a man drove up asking for directions. They girls noticed he was exposed and walked away but were able to get his license plate tag number.
Meanwhile, parents are vigilant after getting a robot call from the school about the incident.
"It was pretty scary. I thought it was bad, it wasn't good. I'm concerned for my child. I'm worried and have to keep an eye out for that," another parent said.
Sheriff's deputies questioned the man, who told a different story. He was not arrested, but the case is heading to the state attorney's office to determine if he will be charged with anything.
The sheriff's office says the teens did the right thing getting the license plate number.
