GREENACRES, Fla. — Emergency crews are responding to an aircraft incident in the area of Military Trail and 10th Avenue North, according to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.
Video from the scene shows flames, thick black smoke and debris scattered across the roadway.
PBCFR said Military Trail is closed to all traffic between Cresthaven Boulevard and 10th Avenue North. The agency described the response as an "extended incident" and urged people to avoid the area.
Details about the aircraft, possible injuries and what led up to the incident have not yet been released.
WPTV has also reached out to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office and other agencies for additional information.
Drivers should avoid the area and seek an alternate route.
