Traffic investigators are trying to track down a Ford Focus suspected of being involved in a hit and run crash Tuesday.

The driver was making a left turn onto southbound Jog Road at Pine Avenue when the car struck the rear of a Chevrolet, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.

The Chevy veered off the road, hit a tree, flipped on its side and struck a Lexus SUV, the sheriff's office said.

The SUV then rolled back and hit a Chrysler, according to investigators.

A passenger in the Chevrolet was transported in serious condition to Delray Medical Center.

The driver in the Ford Focus left the scene, the sheriff's office said.

Investigators say it will have damage to the front grill near the passenger headlight. In addition the passenger headlight cover, fog light cover and passenger front tire hub are missing.

The vehicle could be in Lake Worth, Boynton Beach or Greenacres.

If you recognize the car you are urged to call the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office or Crime Stoppers at 1.800.458.TIPS.
