WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — The annual "Great Give" campaign in Palm Beach and Martin counties is underway Wednesday.
The fundraising effort is a 24-hour online giving event designed to raise as much money as possible for hundreds of local nonprofits in a single day.
It's billed as a community-wide event that "celebrates the spirit of giving and the collective effort," serving those in need.
Money raised will help a variety of people and issues including: children, seniors, the environment and also animals.
