PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. — The Palm Beach County School District may provide some relief to federal workers affected by the ongoing government shutdown.
On Wednesday evening, school board members will discuss a plan to postpone fees for Pre-Kindergarten and aftercare for furloughed parents who have children in those programs.
Once the shutdown ends, those postponed fees will be due, the School District said.
School board members will discuss the measure on Wednesday, and may vote on it as well.
WPTV will be at the meeting and will provide updates.
