The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is offering you the chance to safely dispose of your old documents free of charge.
The shred event, with help from CVS Pharmacy and Shred-It Mobile Paper Shredding, will be held Saturday, January 9 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
There will be three CVS locations:
2077 N. Military Trail in West Palm Beach
12750 S. Military Trail in Boynton Beach
6464 W. Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach.
The limit is 3 office storage boxes of personal documents.
If you're on the Treasure Coast, there's a shred event for you, too.
It's at the Martin County Sheriff's Office, 800 SE Monterey Road, Stuart, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, January 30.
Bring up to three boxes of unwanted personal documents and they'll be shredded for free.
If you have more than three boxes, a $10.00 per box fee will apply with proceeds going to the Sheriff's Office DARE Program.
