Some seniors in Pasco County recently arrived at vaccination centers expecting to have appointments, only to find out their reservation was bogus, the Tampa Bay Times reported.
Health departments in Palm Beach, Pasco, and Pinellas Counties tweeted a warning to seniors that “You should NOT be charged to register. Registration is FREE.”
The Florida Department of Health in Palm Beach County recommends people use the email address firstname.lastname@example.org to request a vaccination appointment. Make sure to include your name, phone number and date of birth in the email.
