Passengers aboard an American Airlines flight encountered some scary moments Thursday night while landing at Palm Beach International Airport.

Flight 2043 arriving from Charlotte, N.C., made a rough landing just before midnight after the landing gear malfunctioned.

Passengers described the scary moments when the flight landed.

"We landed, there was a loud boom. The plane started shaking like crazy," said Brad Heisle of Boynton Beach.

"I'm just thankful we didn't flip over.  I think the pilot did a great job," said Faith Barndt of West Palm Beach

No one was hurt.

However, the representatives of the airport tweeted that the plane's nose landing gear became stuck sideways when the aircraft landed.

Before they could disembark, passengers had to wait on the tarmac for about an hour and a half for a bus to pick them up.
