For the second year, Palm Beach County’s environmental department is inviting the public to experience the beauty of the area in their "Adventure Awaits" series.
Thirteen events are scheduled from late May through late August, allowing to public to interact with naturalists as they lead cycling and paddling tours, a swamp tromp, teach nature photography skills and hike with fireflies.
“We have seen a tremendous response to our first season of Adventure Awaits, and are excited about the new opportunities that we are adding for our second season,” said ERM Director Rob Robbins on the county's website. “These events are a fantastic way of introducing people to our natural areas and giving them a level of comfort when returning and exploring on their own.”
Space is limited and advance registration is required for all of these free events.
