The driver of a Kia was critically injured when the vehicle slammed into the back of a semi in central Palm Beach County Monday morning.
The Kia hit the truck while it was stopped at a red light and a witness told investigators that driver didn't appear to hit the brakes before the crash.
The crash shut down the eastbound lanes of Southern Boulevard from Benoist Farms to Pike Road.
